When the truth in all its brutality and divinity, hits you like a lightening bolt in your core. Your gut is hanging by a limb, completely exposed. When you feel your whole life, you've been destitute of vision. Your truth feels as evident as the sun on a California summer's day, but you can't see it. No matter how wide you open your eyes, you're reaching in the dark. For years, and years, it's torture.
And then you lay down for sleep one night, and it all comes flooding back to you. Slide show picturesque, bloody and grotesque. And there's no going back once you've seen it. There's no forgetting it again. It feels like opening your eyes for the first time. Painful, vulnerable, beautiful.
That's Seven.
